Helping families stay close in crisis
Families from around the world come to Amplatz seeking life-saving treatments for their children, many of whom are hospitalized for months. As a result, parents may have to split time between home and the hospital, incurring significant travel costs.
Care Flights, administered by family/life specialists at the hospital, help ease that burden and connect families while a child undergoing treatment.
As a Delta Air Lines SkyWish charity partner, Children’s Cancer Research Fund receives support for this program from individuals who donate their extra miles in support of families in need. For more information about donating your miles, click here.
