KS95 held its 12th annual KS95 for Kids Radiothon December 10-11 at the Mall of America, during one of the biggest blizzards in Minnesota history. Despite the storm, KS95 listeners stepped up in a big way, contributing more than $473,000 to help children facing medical challenges KS95 For Kids raises money for Children’s Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. During the Radiothon, listeners heard the inspiring stories of children affected by cancer and those living with disabilities. Families also visited the Mall of America to participate in live interviews throughout the weekend, getting the chance to meet their favorite KS95 radio personalities.
This year’s event brings the overall Radiothon total to more than $11.6 million for Children’s Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare.
Thank you to the more than 73 families and school groups who collected change this spring as part of the KS95 for Kids™ Change for Kids program.
