Board of Directors Chairperson
It is an honor to begin my term as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Children’s Cancer Research Fund. Over the past six years I have been witness to an amazing mission that changes the lives of so many children on a daily basis. I am proud to serve supporters like you, who make a difference in our fight to find a cure for childhood cancer.
Our fight continues. Our researchers at the University of Minnesota are making huge strides in the development of better treatments for childhood cancer and other diseases, but there is still much to be done. I encourage you to stay updated on all of the latest research news at our website’s “Latest” page, http://www.ChildrensCancer.org/Latest.
One of our Board’s goals this year is focused on getting our supporters more engaged in our mission. Can I ask you to do the same? Whether it is attending one of our events, volunteering, making an additional donation, or involving another person in our mission – it all makes a difference.
I also want to thank the staff, volunteers and my fellow board members at Children’s Cancer Research Fund, whose dedication to our cause inspires me daily.
