Children’s Cancer Research Fund has received complaints regarding telemarketers representing the Children’s Cancer Fund of America. That is not us. We have not been making these calls.

If you want to lodge a complaint against Children’s Cancer Fund of America or another telemarketer seeking donations, here’s what you can do:

Capture as much information as possible, including,

  • The name of the organization
  • The name of the caller
  • The time of day of the call
  • The phone number

Then call your state Attorney General’s Office Charities Division or complete the complaint form on their website.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time and wont be the last that we are confused with an entity making aggressive pleas for donations. People give to us because they want to support research that helps kids with cancer. It is unfortunate that somebody is out there using these questionable tactics in the name of the children’s cancer cause. It hurts us and it hurts other nonprofits.
