The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society honors Verneris
Dr. Michael Verneris, assistant professor of pediatrics at University of Minnesota’s Division of Hematology-Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplantation, was honored with the Relentless for a Cure Award at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Minnesota Chapter’s annual gala in June. This award is presented annually to an outstanding medical professional in Minnesota whose research, diagnosis and/or treatment has contributed to improved quality of life for patients and their families and great advancements in the field of blood or lymphoma cancers.
